Although fireplaces are good in terms of saving, they can also be quite dangerous if not maintained properly.
Any wooden stove or fireplace has its own hazards that one should be aware of. Proper installation, good maintenance and planning are the basis of having a well-working fireplace. The area you place the fireplace is also important, making sure you have an open space where it is not near anything that could catch on fire. The fireplace should be the focal point to your decor and furniture, which allows for families to enjoy the warmth at a comfortable distance.
